Summary

I took this in my hotel room. I thought this did a great job of helping define how I feel/who I am. Partially obscured by shadow...moving in and out of the light.

Did you know...

A shadow is an area where direct light from a light source cannot reach due to obstruction by an object. It occupies all of the space behind an opaque object with light in front of it. The cross section of a shadow is a two-dimensional silhouette, or reverse projection of the object blocking the light.

An astronomical object casts human-visible shadows when its apparent magnitude is equal or lower than -4. Currently the only astronomical objects able to produce visible shadows on Earth are the sun, the moon and, in the right conditions, the planets of Mercury and Venus.

Formula

Length of Shadow = Tan(θ)*a. Where a = object's height, and θ = angle between the point of light and the object.

The Fallen Angel

Darkness is my light

My hope is fueled by despair, for it is despair that gives me purpose

Like Christ’s sick minion, I beg to be unleashed

To feed on that what is evil

Sweet grim on my lips

Banishing misery from the unfortunate

Creating joy out of pain

Growing life out of death

Watch the Phoenixes rise

This is my destiny.

Once again, a hero to the forces of light

Thank you, Warrior. You were once needed.

Your presence here now makes us uncomfortable

A reminder of the pain that once was.

Without purpose among the well adjusted

Lonely in a city crowded with the free

Starving in a field of bliss

Exiled by happiness

If I am a healer, then why do I feel like a destroyer?

If I am good, why do I feel like a demon?

I am not the saviour. I am the perversion.
