Pine Tree Shadow (not!)

It is easy to think of shadows as being a day event, but I love night shadows and this is a great reason why. At first glance, the shadow of a pint tree, but take a closer look. The "trunk " is actually a buttress of an old building. The branches of the tree are actually coming from two cedars, one on each side, imposed through the flood lights on the ground. Two trees and a buttress coming together to make one tree.

Shadow Traveller

The shadow of the van traveling down a gravel road gives the appearance of some great hulking shadow beast moving at speed through the grasses. I find it a bit eerie, even during daylight hours.
